Life demands an income, and if the inevitable arrives - when hockey stops - there is a greater sense of urgency to meet that demand. Life is full of personality, and life is full of understated emotion. While the players themselves may be the center of the hockey universe for fans, they are simply characters in the lively drama that accompany them.
